In order to upgrade your server site to 10.8, you must first upgrade it to 10.3 or a later version, then upgrade again to 10.8. Upgrades are not supported from Portal for ArcGIS 10.2.2 or earlier versions to 10.8.Ensure the new license file is adequate for your current user and app configuration.
The license file you input during the upgrade will be used to license your portal's users and apps.
